Who popped the Question and how did it happen?
Alex popped the question on a secluded beach while on a bush walk in The National Park.
Why did you choose your venue and how was the venue choosing process?
We fell in love with The Woods Farm, Jervis Bay after seeing the photos online and it looked just as beautiful in person after touring the grounds. We loved the idea of all our guests staying with us the whole weekend.

What month?
October
Planning The Wedding;
Was planning the wedding stressful or did you enjoy the journey?
It was stressful at times but overall loved the journey.
How involved were you both in the wedding planning, did one of you take more of the lead on certain aspects than others or were you both equally involved?
We split a lot of the tasks but the Bride took creative direction and the groom was more budget focused.
What was the top couple of non-negotiables or important must-have’s at the wedding for you both?
Food, Drinks and guest entertainment.
Tell us about your dress and that dress-finding process?
I wore a Corston Couture dress from Ivory Room Bridal. Coral was amazing to deal with and custom made the dress to fit me.
What sort of theme, vibe or style did you go for?
Our colour scheme was Terracotta/Rust
On the Day;
How did you both feel wedding morning?
The bridal cottage was a very chill space! When the lovely Sarah from WedEvent Creators came to visit me I felt so much more at ease, she had everything under control. Groom felt nervous but fine.
What was the best part or moment of your day?
For me (bride) it had to be our sunset photo session where we snuck out for a few pics, the sky was the most magical shade of pink and we could just breathe for a second. (Groom) – my favourite part was the reception.
Anything you would change about your wedding or anything that didn’t go to plan?
We couldn’t believe how well everything went to plan!
After the Wedding;
Describe newlywed life in a couple of words?
Loved up and excited for this new chapter of our lives.
Best investment or money well spent on the wedding that you made?
All our vendors were the best investment and couldn’t be happier! Venue- The Woods Farm, Wed Event Day of Coordinator, Henry and Clive, Garnish Catering, our celebrant David Newman, our lovely florist Larissa from Innerbloom Floral Design, our content creator Big Day Events, our amazing team of photographers/videographers from Storytellers Wedding Co, our make up artist Sammantha Lee MUA and Jervis Bay Hair Design.
Budget-over, under or what you estimated?
Budget came roughly what we estimated! Saved a lot of money doing wedding DIYs and having friends help out where they could.
